Working Proof

So much gets lost to the cutting room floor in the artistic process, a fact that became even more apparent to me as I began my journey with printmaking. I also began to see how many audiences where just as interested in seeing the process of making art as they were the art itself. These realizations mixed with my love for education started the gears turning for this show. A collection of not only pieces I deem finished and worthy of being framed, but also the notes I write myself, prints that didn't work for what ever reason, and the countless scraps of color tests.
